Letter: Responding to a response to letter about dealers

-- I don't expect dealers to be entertainers. Besides, most of them either say nothing or they just make small talk, such as anyone would.

-- Everyone (not just blackjack dealers) is expected to perform their job regardless of their moods.

-- On rare occasions, I have seen rude players. However, it is no more likely for a given player to be rude than for a given dealer to be rude.

-- Many jobs have health risks. I don't like cigarette smoke, either. Sometimes I move a player's ashtray or ask them to hold their cigarette away from me.

-- The player's fortune still has nothing to do with the dealer. It does not matter whether the dealer is rooting for the player to win. Zoltan, you could be praying to Allah for me to lose, and I won't object.

By the way, I am always polite when I play. If I win big, I leave a tip. Overall, dealers are skilled and friendly and I like them very much. However, if Zoltan is a dealer, he should tip the players for putting up with his strange logic.
