Agnes Earl Aden, 83, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. She was born March 23, 1915, in Holcomb, Mo. She was a resident for 10 years.

She is survived by one daughter, Billie Guenther of Las Vegas; one sister, Chesteen Coffee of Fairfield, Calif.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

WILLIAM 'FRED' BRYANT

William "Fred" Bryant, 57, of Las Vegas died June 20 at a local hospital. He was born Aug. 12, 1940, in Lexington, Ky. A resident for three years, he was in security for the gaming industry and a Vietnam Navy, Air Force and Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Kay; five stepdaughters, Keri Corodona of Las Cruces, N.M., Kristina Misenhimer of Wendell, Idaho, Susan Eiliman of Boise, Idaho, Peggy of Kerman, Calif., Katherine Morales; and 18 grandchildren.

Graveside services were 10 a.m. today at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

DONALD GRANT COOPER

Donald Grant Cooper, 78, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 1, 1920, in Canada. A resident for 22 years, he was a sporting goods store manager and a World War II Marine veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Susanne Cooper; two sons, Dan Jenkins of California and Gary Cooper of Colorado; three daughters, Debbie Perez of California, Nancy Cooper of Virginia and Teri Hitchcock of Utah; two sisters, Daisy Yalda of California and Vickie Osborne Mculley of Washington; and 11 grandchildren.

Services will be 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of Las Vegas, 3388 S. Decatur. Arrangements were handled by Hites Funeral Services Inc., 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson.

VICTOR M. CORTES

Victor M. Cortes, 69, of Las Vegas died Saturday at a local hospital. He was born July 21, 1928, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired waiter in the restaurant business.

He is survived by his wife Charlotte "Chris"; one son, Victor M. Cortes Jr. of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Lydia Abreu and Delia Caceres of San Juan, Puerto Rico; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 2 to 7 p.m. today with a 6 p.m. Rosary at Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Catholic Church.

MARGARET T. DINGES

Margaret T. Dinges, 71, of Las Vegas died Saturday at a local hospital. She was born May 27, 1927, in Atlanta, Ga. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired secretary in education.

She is survived by her husband, Al; two daughters, Linda Prida of Las Vegas and Cathy Cervantes of San Diego; one son, David Dinges of San Diego; one sister, Evelyn Beazer of McCall, Idaho; and one grandchild.

Services will be 4 p.m. Thursday at the Lakes Lutheran Church. Arrangements were handled by Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

IRENE E. GREGG

Irene E. Gregg, 89, of Las Vegas died Saturday at a local hospital. She was born Dec. 23, 1908, in Chicago. A resident for 26 years, she was a manager of a mobile home park.

She is survived by two sons, Ray Haldeman of Las Vegas and George Haldeman of Estill, S.C.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

YOSHITERU GYOTOKU

Yoshiteru Gyotoku, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 25, 1925, in Hawaii. A resident for 10 years, he was a carpenter in the construction industry.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel; two sons, Michael Gyotoku and Jay Gyotoku, both of Hawaii; three daughters, Robin Takara of Las Vegas, Jacqueline Kittaka and Jill Auman, both of Calif.; one brother, Robert Gyotoku of Hawaii; five sisters, H Horita, Yamato, Pat Muranaka, Thelma Shimamura and Fulimoto, all of Hawaii.

Services will be 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Spring Valley Assembly of God. Arrangements were handled by Hites Funeral Services Inc., 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson.

LAUREN BELL HENRIE

Lauren Bell Henrie, 29 days, of Henderson died Saturday at a local hospital.

She is survived by her parents, Susan and Troy Henrie of Henderson; one sister, McKenna Henrie of Henderson; two brothers, Jordan Henrie and Jacob Henrie, both of Henderson; her grandparents, Marianne and Gary Bell of Vancouver, Wash.; her grandmother, Linda Nelson of Las Vegas; and her grandfather, James Henrie of Sacramento.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Pebble Canyon LDS Ward Chapel. Another visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. services Wednesday at Pebble Canyon LDS Ward Chapel. Burial to follow.

ANNA HERRARTE

Anna Herrarte, 21, of Las Vegas died Sunday. She was born Aug. 31, 1976, in California. A resident for one year, she was a receptionist at a body care products store.

She is survived by her parents, Francisco and Maria Herrarte of California.

DELL W. LENOX

Dell W. Lenox, 67, of Las Vegas died Friday at a local hospice. She was born March 24, 1931, in Arkansas. A resident for 10 years, she was a manager for TCBY.

She is survived by one son, Peter L. Lenox; two daughters, Sarah Lee Lenox and Fay Leitrel; one brother, Harold Davis Womack; one sister, Dorothy Keithley; and one grandchild.

Arrangements were handled by Desert Memorial Cremation & Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

NORMAN R. LEWIS

Norman R. Lewis, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday at a local hospice. He was born Sept. 27, 1919, in St. Louis, Mo. A resident for 19 years, he was a retired shipping clerk in the retail industry, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the Masons, the Shriners and Valley View Golf Club.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; three daughters, Nicole Lewis of Las Vegas, Norma Morgan of Los Angeles and June Slonicki of Washington, D.C.; two sons, Reggie Lewis and Darryl Lewis, both of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

EMILY M. LITTLER

Emily M. Littler, 65, of Boulder City died Friday. She was born Sept. 27, 1932, in Colfax, Wash. A resident for 37 years, she was a school librarian.

She is survived by her husband William Littler of Boulder City; her father, Sherman McIntyre of Roslyn, Wash.; one brother, Douglas McIntyre of Roslyn; and one sister, Elaine Galbraith of Sequim, Wash.

Arrangements were handled by Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway.

JOHN DAVID McCALLIE I

John David McCallie I, 54, of Las Vegas died Friday at a local hospital. He was born Aug. 26, 1943, in Akron, Ohio. A resident of 24 years, he worked internal maintenance in the hotel industry and was an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Lynnette; one daughter, Lisa Castillo of Las Vegas, two sons, Tom McCallie and John David McCallie II, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Alberta McCallie of Lexington, Ohio; one brother, Bob McCallie of Marin County, Calif.; two sisters, Sandra Putscher and Susan Dean, both of Lexington, Ohio; and one grandchild.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon services Wednesday at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones.

JAMES McNEAL

James McNeal, 37, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 8, 1961, in Nevada. A longtime resident, he was an auto detailer.

He is survived by his parents, James Sr. and Willie; one brother, Samuel Davis of Las Vegas; and four sisters, Joyce Hicks, Janice McNeal, Joyce McNeal and Jennette McNeal, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation will be noon to 8 p.m. Thursday at Carver Baptist Church, 1221 N. J St. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Carver Baptist Church. Graveside services will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.

HELEN M. PAUL

Helen M. Paul, 73, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born March 4, 1925, in Elko. She was a volunteer at Desert Springs Hospital, a member of Sigma Phi and a member of the Rainbow Girls.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan Lorenzetti of Silver Springs and Laurie Bolden of Grapevine, Texas; two brothers, Dr. John McFarlane of Iowa and Robert McFarlane of Oregon; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

FRANCES GRACE RIDDLE

Frances Grace Riddle, 93, of Tempe, Ariz. died Friday in Mesa, Ariz. She was born in Cardston, Alberta. A former Las Vegas resident, she was a manager of a cab company.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Riddle, and two grandchildren.

She is survived by one son, Chauncey Riddle; one daughter, Mary Hukill; 15 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

TINA MARIE ROSE

Tina Marie Rose, 28, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 21, 1969, in Illinois. A resident for six months, she was a manager of a mortgage company.

She is survived by her husband, John; and her parents Leonard and Sue Michaler of Illinois.

ARTHUR ROZEN

Arthur Rozen, 90, of Las Vegas, died May 9 in Las Vegas. He was born March 24, 1908, in Chelsea, Mass. A resident for 50 years, he was a retired investor in the gaming industry and a member of the Las Vegas Country Club.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Marie Rozen of Las Vegas; his daughter, Barbara Rozen of California; and two grandchildren.

SHEILA SCHWARTZ

Sheila Schwartz, 44, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 16, 1953, in Hereford, Texas. A resident for 43 years, she was a custodial engineer for the state government.

She is survived by her husband, Don; two sons, Christopher Schwartz and Brian Schwartz, both of Las Vegas; her father, J.D. Downs of Beaver, Utah; and two brothers, Michael Downs and Donnie Downs, both of Las Vegas.

Visitation will be 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be noon Thursday at the same location. Burial to follow.

ANTHONY 'TONY' MICHAEL SOFIA

Anthony "Tony" Michael Sofia, 43, of Las Vegas died Friday at a local hospital. He was born July 26, 1954, in Oceanside, N.Y. A resident for 11 years, he was a construction worker, a Vietnam War Air Force Veteran and a member of a 12 step recovery program.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; one son, Anthony Sofia of Las Vegas; one stepdaughter, Jessica Renneker of Las Vegas; one stepson, Nicholas Mattke of Las Vegas; his father, Michael Sofia of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Monica Simonetta and Josephine Sofia, both of Pennsylvania.

Services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Dr. Graveside services will be 10:45 a.m. Thursday at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

BETTY LOU SULLIVAN

Betty Lou Sullivan, 65, of Las Vegas died Thursday at a local hospital. She was born June 29, 1932, in Aberdeen, S.D. A resident of seven years, she was a sales representative at Commercial Glass.

She is survived by one son, Thomas Scott Sullivan of Las Vegas; her mother, Opal Sullivan of Las Vegas; one sister, Pat Ramsay of Arizona; and numerous nieces and nephews.

WANDA TABONY

Wanda Tabony, 60, of Henderson died Thursday. She was born Feb. 12, 1938, in Detroit, Mich. A resident for 40 years, she was in customer service at a retail department store and a member of the Eagles Lodge of Henderson.

She is survived by one son, Scott Tabony of Las Vegas; one sister, Carol Ruth of Ohio; two brothers, Michael Vickers and Charles Vickers, both of Ohio; and one grandchild.

Cheryl Marie Wooldridge, 56, of Las Vegas died Friday at a local hospital. She was born Nov. 25, 1941, in Miami, Fla. A resident for 20 years, she was a customer service representative for the convention industry.

She is survived by her husband, Dale; two daughters, Genice Wooldridge and Michele Monaco, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Dawn Palmer of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; and one grandchild.
