Megabucks jackpot continues to climb

The International Game Technology system links more than 650 slot machines in 129 Nevada casinos to the single huge jackpot.
It takes three, $1 tokens to hit the big payoff.
The previous Megabuck jackpot record was $12.5 million. The latest stash of cash surpassed that amount on Feb. 4, and has been building ever since.
The game's close cousin, Super Megabucks, on Friday held a jackpot of more than $10.6 million.
All Megabuck jackpots are paid in annual installments over 25 years.
Super Megabuck jackpots are paid over 30 years.
