Letter: Pollsters do not ask all viewpoints

Pols and polls! They use them when they favor them and claim they don't believe in polls when they disfavor them. I'd like to know if the polls are really true or if the Republicans poll only Republicans and vice-versa for the Democrats.

I have never been polled by any party. Maybe my vital statistics don't fit a profile they need. After all, I'm a white male, 68 years of age, a registered Democrat with leanings toward smaller government, a resident of Las Vegas for 42 years, retired military, a retired government employee (Postal Service), etc.

Doesn't anyone except the local Independent Party care about my political opinion?
