Rebels honored for academics

Two members of the UNLV baseball team and one from the Lady Rebels' softball team earned academic All-America honors. Andy McCullough and Mike Zipser were named to the GTE Academic All-America District VIII baseball team and Keaomalamalama Chang earned All-America District VII softball honors. McCullough, a Western High School graduate, hasn't declared his major and has a 3.54 grade-point average. Zipser, a Cimarron-Memorial grad, is majoring in Sports Injury Management and has a 3.58 GPA.
