Rebel catcher honored

UNLV catcher/designated hitter Ryan Hamill was an honorable mention on the 1998 Louisville Slugger Freshmen All-American baseball team, selected by the staff of Collegiate Baseball newspaper. He played in 44 games and batted .338, hit 16 home runs, had 46 RBI and led the Rebels with a .752 slugging percentage.
