James A. Barry, 71, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born May 9, 1927, in Philadelphia. A resident for nine years, he was a retired steamfitter and a member of Steamfitters Local 420 in Philadelphia.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia; two daughters, Dawn Burch of Haddon Township, N.J., and Carole Sheppard of Oaklyn, N.J.; two sons, Joseph Lynch of Frederick, Md., and James Lynch of Haddon Township; three sisters, Shirley, Donna and Carol Ann; and 11 grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Lisa Ann Bauer

Lisa Ann Bauer, 36, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born April 28, 1962, in Ogden, Utah. A resident for 13 years, she was a bartender at the Reserve hotel-casino.

She is survived by two daughters, Holli Bauer and Heidi Jo Bauer, and four sisters, Reiko Bright, Polly Gutierrez, Sari Gale and Laurie Bright, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, Mark Bright of Las Vegas and Toby Bright of Ogden; her parents, Bobbie and Catherine Bright of Las Vegas; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Jones. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Glen M. Beahm

Glen M. Beahm, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 29, 1924, in Colorado. A resident for 37 years, he was a special projects machinist for EG&G and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; one daughter, Glenda Boyle of San Diego; two sons, Douglas and Gary, and one sister, Berniece Fountain, all of Denver; and 10 grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Jewel Thebo Bigelow

Jewel Thebo Bigelow, 80, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born June 12, 1918, in Boise, Idaho. A resident for 62 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Robert T. Bigelow, and one sister, Jacquelyne Miller, both of Las Vegas; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9-11 a.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Tillie Castro

Tillie Castro, 75, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born March 11, 1923, in Ogden, Utah. A resident for 17 years, she was a retired hospital housekeeper.

She is survived by one daughter, Elaine Riley of California; two sons, Steven Polier of Layton of Utah and Bobby Polier of Las Vegas; two stepdaughters, Kathy of California and Darcilee of Oregon; two stepsons, Jim Polier of Tennessee and Larry Polier of Oregon; 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Celeste LDS Ward Chapel. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

James Michael Corbitt

James Michael Corbitt, 42, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 21, 1956, in Kansas City, Kan. A resident for 17 years, he was a truck driver.

He is survived by one son, Tyler James Corbitt, and two daughters, Breanna Corbitt and Kendall Corbitt, all of Turin, Iowa; his mother and stepfather, Ruth N. and Roger P. Graslin; two brothers, Gerald Corbitt of Brunswick, Ga., and Jerry Corbitt of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Patricia Thompson of Conneaut, Ohio, and Denise Sutton of Las Vegas.

Ramona Louise Davis

Ramona Louise Davis, 31, of Las Vegas died Oct. 24 in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 24, 1967, in Pasadena, Calif. A resident for nine years, she was a college student.

She is survived by one daughter, Portia Davis, her parents, James and Alice Johnson, and one brother, Wayne Barnes, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Memory Gardens.

Abel Denis

Abel Denis, 34, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 30, 1964, in Havana. A resident for four years, he was a hotel kitchen worker.

He is survived by his father, Angel Denis, his mother, Andrea Rojas, and one brother, Pedro Denis, all of Cuba; and five sisters, Hilda Denis of Florida and Caridad Denis, Maritza Denis, Alina Denis and Niurka Denis, all of Cuba.

Shawn Erick Dunn

Shawn Erick Dunn, 29, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 12, 1969, in Korea. A resident for several years, he was a counselor.

He is survived by one son, Richard Dunn; his parents, Leola and Stony Dunn, and one sister, Tracy F. Dunn, all of Las Vegas; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; one nephew, Deldante Dunn, and his grandmother, Carrie Washington, both of Las Vegas.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Boulevard North. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Marie Frank

Marie Frank, 95, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born July 21, 1903, in New York City. A resident for 24 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Edward Frank, and one daughter, Wilma Bass, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, Milton Artz of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Charles Artz of Bayside, N.Y.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Dennis P. Fridly, 53, of Las Vegas died Oct. 12 in a local hospital. He was born May 28, 1945, in a local hospital. A resident for 31 years, he was a dealer.

He is survived by one daughter, Diana Fridly of Manhattan Beach, Calif.; one son, Scott Fridly of Las Vegas; two sisters, Deanna Frasure of Phoenix and Luanna Fridly; and three brothers, Dale Fridly and Duane Fridly, both of Rockford, Ill., and Kevin Fridly of Manchester, Mo.

Erwin Glass

Erwin Glass, 77, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born March 13, 1921, in Chicago. A resident for 43 years, he was a member of the Lake Mead Marina Yacht Club.

He is survived by his wife, Mitzi; two brothers, Matthew Glass and Alfie Glass, both of Canada.

Abraham Gonzales

Abraham Gonzales, 24, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 28, 1974, in Mexico. A resident for six months, he was a laborer in the landscaping industry.

He is survived by his parents, Jesus and Guadalupe Gonzales, and one brother, Javier Gonzales, all of California.

Bridget Hahn

Bridget Hahn, 29, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 30, 1969, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a 1987 Bishop Gorman High School graduate.

She is survived by her parents, Larry and Christina Hahn, one brother, Lawrence G. Hahn, and three sisters, Tina M. Rath, Laurie A. Wright and Leslie J. Hahn, all of Las Vegas.

Alice M. Hull

Alice M. Hull, 86, of Henderson died Friday in a local care center. She was born Aug. 12, 1912, in Oklahoma. A resident for three years, she was an attorney -- and the oldest licensed attorney in the state of California.

She is survived by her husband, William; one niece, Patsy Weber of Missouri.

Rodney E. Jenkins

Rodney E. Jenkins, 67, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. He was born May 23, 1931, in Elizabethtown, Ky. A resident for eight years, he was a retired produce buyer and a Korean War Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Joan; one daughter, Catherine Campbell of Florida; one son, Stephen Jenkins of Littleton, Colo.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Albert Kanter

Albert Kanter, 86, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 2, 1912. A resident for many years, he was a retail salesman.

He is survived by one niece, Sharnan Kanter of California.

John Paul Nichols

John Paul Nichols, 73, of Las Vegas died Nov. 5 in a local health care center. He was born June 17, 1925, in Wallins Creek, Ky. A resident for two years, he was a retired Korean War Army veteran who was disabled.

He is survived by one sister, Dena Babikian of Las Vegas.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

David Andrew Romanolo

David Andrew Romanolo, 31, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 10, 1967, in Stuttgart, West Germany. A resident for three years, he was a bartender at the Santa Fe hotel-casino.

He is survived by one daughter, Ashley Romanolo of New Jersey; his father, Charles Romanolo of Wildoman, Calif.; one sister, Maria Grata of Idaho; and his grandparents, Charles and Maria Romanolo of San Diego.

Edwin Ray Sharpe

Edwin Ray Sharpe, 49, of Henderson died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born March 21, 1949, in Ohio. A resident for 12 years, he was a bartender.

He is survived by his mother, Virginia Sharpe, and one sister, Stella Miller, both of Ohio; and one brother, Daniel Sharpe of Las Vegas.

Celestina Soto de Monarrez

Celestina Soto de Monarrez, 85, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born May 19, 1913, in Mexico. A resident for 22 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by four sons, Consepcion Monarrez, Jesus Monarrez, Martin Monarrez and Clemente Monarrez, and two daughters, Lucia Herrera and Rosa Monarrez, all of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today with a 6 p.m. rosary at American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in American Burial and Cremation Services. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Elizabeth Tarantine, 92, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 19, 1905, in Italy. A resident for 12 years, she was a retired seamstress.

She is survived by one daughter, Nancy Conley of Las Vegas; one son, Phil Tarantine of Long Beach, Calif.; one sister, Esther McConnell of Weirton, W.Va.; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Fannie Gunn Templeton

Fannie Gunn Templeton, 95, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 15, 1903, in Barnett, Mo. A resident for 44 years, she was a retired schoolteacher.

She is survived by one daughter, Ann Bryan, and one son, Roger M. Bryan, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Ethel Kelsey of California, Mo., and Nan Satter of Clear Lake, Iowa; three brothers, Paul Gunn of Barnett, Rex Gunn of Versailles, Mo., and Roscoe Gunn of Romney, W.Va.; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Anthony J. Trivisonno Jr., 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. He was born Sept. 23, 1932, in Cleveland. A resident for 27 years, he was a retired dealer and a Korean War Navy veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Dannette Trivisonno and Maureen Warkentien, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Mary Ann Spies and Angela Passarella, both of Mesa, Ariz.; one brother, Thomas M. Trivisonno of Wickliffe, Ohio; two granddaughters, Kreigh Dannette Warkentien and Aubrie Jane Warkentien, and one grandson, Roberto Aldo Orellana, all of Las Vegas.

Bessie Eileen 'Betty' Valentine, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 30, 1926, in Indiana. A resident for 37 years, she was a casino cage attendant.

She is survived by her husband, James; two sons, William P. Galloway of Logansport, Ind., and Rick Allen Valentine of Las Vegas; one daughter, Martha Bash of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.
