Four killed in six-car crash

Four people were killed in a six-car collision 90 miles northwest of Las Vegas Wednesday, and three of the accident's survivors were taken to the University Medical Center in critical condition.
The Nevada Highway Patrol has not yet determined the cause of the accident that occurred on U.S. 95 10 miles south of Beatty in Nye County.
Names have not been released pending notification of relatives.
The accident occurred shortly before 4:30 p.m. and closed both lanes of traffic until 6 p.m., when one lane was reopened, the NHP said.
The three survivors were taken by helicopters to UMC.
The accident remains under investigation.
