LV getting flights to Long Beach

Salt Lake City-based WinAir Airlines will begin service between Las Vegas and Southern California next month with two daily flights to and from Long Beach Airport.
Introductory fares between Nov. 2-18 will be $58 round trip with $98 fares effective after Nov. 18. WinAir flights will depart daily at 8:15 p.m. and every day except Saturday at 3:45 p.m.
Departures from Long Beach are scheduled daily at 6:15 p.m. and every day except Saturday at 1:45 p.m.
The airline will use McCarran International Airport's B gates and will be staffed by contracted America West Airlines employees. The company will have no direct competition to the Long Beach airport, although several carriers serve several airports in suburban Los Angeles.
