Several projects unaffected by law

Spared from the law's effects will be projects such as the 600-room hotel-casino planned by American Nevada Corp. at the corner of Lake Mead and Green Valley in Henderson, or the 290-room Santa Fe Valley casino planned across from Sunset Station in Henderson.

Also unaffected will be the Resorts at Summerlin under construction at Rampart and the Summerlin Parkway, or Coast Resorts' Sundance hotel-casino planned for Rampart and Alta.
