1998 LVI Fast Facts

* WHEN/WHERE: Wednesday, Oct. 14, through Sunday, Oct. 18, at the Tournament Players Club at Summerlin, the Las Vegas Country Club and the Desert Inn Golf Club. Saturday's and Sunday's rounds will be played exclusively at the TPC at Summerlin.

* PURSE: $2 million. Winner will receive $360,000.

* FORMAT: 144 professionals and 432 amateurs. The pro-am will be played in foursomes consisting of three amateurs and one professional and will be held Wednesday through Friday. The pro field will be cut to the low 70 scores and ties following Friday's round.

* ADMISSION: Daily tickets are $20 and are available at the gates at all three courses. Children 17 and under admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult. Senior citizens (age 60 and older) can purchase a daily ticket for $20 and receive a second ticket free. Season badges, good for admission each day of the tournament, are $75 and are available at the gates.

* TV: ESPN (Prime Cable channel 19) will televise Friday from 1 to 3 p.m.; Saturday from 2:30 to 4 p.m.; and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.
