Brief: LV couple indicted

Federal prosecutors say Jaquie Lucamado and Richard Lucamado Sr. set up a company, Tilbury Investments Inc., that offered loans. The Lucamados told prospective clients they could obtain millions in loans, with the source sometimes being a prince from the Middle East and sometimes an Arab sheik, the government said.
Customers were told they would have to send an advance fee to get the loans, prosecutors said, further alleging that once the advanced fees were received, the Lucamados became hard to reach and the loans did not materialize.
Prosecutors say they used the money to fund a lavish lifestyle. The couple could not be located for comment.
