Letter: Clinton owes another woman an apology

Alas, she entered into an inappropriate relationship. Furthermore she lied about it to higher ranking officers. She did not commit perjury.

Officially our commander-in-chief was not involved in the affair. However, because of extensive media coverage he was well aware of all the details. He certainly had then, and even more so now, a great deal of empathy for that woman. I don't even remember her name.

I firmly believe that our commander-in-chief owes that woman an apology for not intervening then and furthermore should take the following action now:

-- Reinstate her to her former Air Force position (after a presidential pardon, if necessary).

-- Provide her with back pay from the date of her "forced" resignation.

-- Pay her legal fees.

-- Then provide her with the opportunity, if she so desires, to resign with an honorable discharge.

Or don't we treat our women that way in this country?
