Letter: Gore should heed his own advice

According to his staff, Gore will have campaigned for Democrats in more than 14 governor's races, 12 Senate races and 41 Houses originally listed by the Wall Street Journal as reported to them. Gore is spending about half of each week campaigning for Democrats.

This information is in direct contrast to a statement attributed to Gore in his speeches given locally, and I quote, "the Republicans ought to get busy with the business of the American people and start doing their jobs."

As a registered Democrat, I respectfully suggest that the vice president follow suit and devote full time to the business of the American people, not just part of each week.
