1st Race:

Sunley Seeker -- English-bred import makes U.S. debut with solid worktab, has won half of last six starts and broke maiden on dirt, draws good rail post, Berrio/Avila team.

Sweet Elite -- Returns to dirt after pair of third's from four recent turf starts, broke maiden on main, reunites with winning rider Pincay now, good spot for rebound.

Value Play -- Checked Queen.

2nd Race:

Midas Miss -- First-time starter by King Concorde, swift works over the track, good post and well spotted, trainer Cerin tabs Fernando for debut.

Know That Song -- Returns to races with steady works, runner up from the rail on first of the year in last, Garcia takes over on Stute trainee, freshened now.

Value Play -- Five Forty Five.

3rd Race:

Superlative -- Another who returns from freshening, in the quinella five of six lifetime starts with a trio of victories, bullet seven-panel Anita drill on 9/30, proven winner fresh.

Bella Chiarra -- Dueled lead, cleared and held to win at Hollypark late July in last, broke maiden before that, solid works since raced, Pincay takes over on Whittingham trainee.

Value Play -- Snowberg.

4th Race:

Barter Town -- Didn't like Meadowlands trip with no rally in Grade II Pegasus 'Cap in last, solid victory before that in the quinella five of six lifetime st starts, bred to love lawn, we'll take him first time on green.

Crown Of Thorns -- Close runner up on Del Mar sod in last, won by a nose before that on same, in the quinella four of five career starts with a pair of wins, Desormeaux takes over.

Value Play -- Sea Crest.

5th Race:

Rajah Hornsby -- Invades from Los Alamitos, wide trip fourth in last, won three of prior five starts, in the quinella seven of 12 outings at the distance and seven of eight this year, good spot for action.

Collirio -- Returns to races off 17-month layoff, steady works, in the quinella half of 10 starts at this distance with three wins, four of seven lifetime victories from a dozen Anita outings, Alvarado for Mitchell.

Value Play -- Superb Idea.

6th Race:

Zeriab -- Stumbled at the start then dueled heated battle for the lead and just missed by a nose in game debut effort at Del Mar in last, served ample warning, bounce factor is only obstacle to graduation.

Margeds Ditto -- Nightmare debut trip while undressed and still finished second after getting the lead mid-stretch early July in last, steady works for return, hustling Alvarado takes over, hopes no ditto trip here.

Value Play -- Matricule.

7th Race:

Sankarang -- Fourth in Kentucky Turf Cup Dash in comeback effort in last, in the money in all four Anita turf starts with a victory, running style fits downhill run, reunites with winning rider Desormeaux here.

Cyrano Storme -- In-tight while close at a mile on Del Mar lawn in last, in the quinella 18 of 38 lifetime turn starts with five victories, late closing sprinter should love this trip, third in only downhill try.

Value Play -- Young Husband.

Eighth Race:

Antahkarana -- Promising freshmen filly raced wide while stalking the leader and held solid runner-up first time in graded competition in Del Mar Debutante in last, handy huge debut maiden breaker before that, steady works since raced, McCarron stays on Cecil trainee.

Excellent Meeting -- Rallied off the pace after slow start to win Del Mar Debutante beating top pick in last, runner up in Grade II stakes before that, swift solid works since raced, Desormeaux/Baffert team.

Value Play -- Colorado Song.

9th Race:

Robynhood -- Broke slowly and rallied for fourth in last, stumbled at the break when distant third in comeback effort before that, steady works since raced, makes third start back from layoff here.

Lexicon -- Clearly best in maiden breaker late August in last, solid steady works since raced with bullet drill over the track on 9/22, Desormeaux takes over on Mandella trainee.

Value Play -- Super Way.

10th Race:

Skyward Melody -- Outfinished to second in last, second by a head before that -- both on Del Mar lawn, steady works since raced, Pincay takes over on Sahadi trainee, must overcome outside post.

Conical -- English import was wide and fourth from outside post in last, close fourth in U.S. debut before that -- both on Del Mar grass, draws good rail post now, Solis stays on Frankel trainee.

Value Play -- Royal Malt.
