Letter: Dirty campaign won't win vote

The more you spend time and money on running a dirty campaign dishing dirt on your contenders, the less I'm going to vote for you. It is a definite turn-off when I see you heaping insult, shame and gossip about your fellow candidates in television ads, newspapers and via radio and telephone.

It is belittling to my intelligence that you don't allow me the privilege of deciding for myself whom I would prefer to see in office.

I am honored to be a constituent, proud to be a registered voter and am well aware of the problems we face in Las Vegas. I keep track of your record. I will decide who will honor my vote by their record, not by the negative images they can create in the media. Run an honest campaign and do all the things you have chosen to do. Then and only then will you get my vote.
