Letter: Laws apply to Democrats, also

Historically, religiously, philosophically and legally, this is the highest ideal of "fairness." The rules the Republicans proposed are modeled, and in most cases, exactly word by word the same rules the Democrats used for the Nixon impeachment proceedings.

Why is it that when Democrat leaders and politicians are asked to live by the same rules they write and enforce on everyone else, suddenly, those rules become unfair? Does the national Democratic Party truly believe in two sets of laws, one for them and one for everyone else? Their actions say yes. Remember that at the voting booth.
