Mistrial declared in molestation case involving former chiropractor

Both the plaintiff's attorney and the attorney for Jeffrey Donner filed for a mistrial because of the evidence presented during Wednesday's opening statements.

Donner was accused in seven lawsuits of sexually molesting former patients. This week's civil trial involved one of those complaints.

Donner, 34, was given probation in January 1997 on criminal charges of sexual misconduct involving six of his patients after a plea bargain that should prevent the current Florida resident from ever again being a chiropractor.

The incidents occurred during 1992 and 1993 at Donner's Las Vegas and North Las Vegas offices, according to the lawsuits.

Donner maintains he was victimized by the women.
