Letter: Nation mired in scandal

This doesn't leave much hope for a country mired in partisan politics and polls that show he is still supported by a high percentage of people I suspect are similar to a Jerry Springer audience.

The absurdity of the president's semantic maneuvers coupled with his weird word interpretations strain credulity. Regardless, the United States may be compelled to endure two more years of a soiled leadership that proposes by word and deed to further the globalism principle that erodes our sovereignty.

The flotsam of Clinton's tenure is an empty army, a sense that the country is sinking into a moral abyss, and an underlying dread of what the future holds.

There will be no songs to sing about this administration, which will leave a dismal legacy of corruption and a shambles to the once-revered office of the presidency.
