His negative portrayal of cannibis users as shaggy remnants of the '60s is insulting. Millions of Americans use this herb frequently, for many reasons. Many prefer it to alcohol, which is the drug most often connected with violent behavior. Otherwise law-abiding citizens use the plant responsibly and resent Big Brother's intrusion.
It is a sad government, which for many specious reasons must ban the use of a plant. This is a totalitarian overresponse and an infringement on a basic human/natural right.
I know O'Callaghan is an honest man. I hope he will continue his education.
