Now if the tax increase passes in Las Vegas, the residents of Henderson will be paying higher rates for their own water, plus have to pay higher taxes to support the Las Vegas water system improvements.
This is definitely not fair. We who live in Henderson did not have a chance to vote on our water-rate increase and I certainly would not vote to increase the tax to support Las Vegas' water system. We here in Clark County are being taxed to death.
I thought it would be great to have no income tax, but if I count all the higher taxes we are paying, I'm sure it would come out about even.
