Michelle R. Eichorn, 22, of Reno, was arrested on one count of felony child abuse causing the death of her daughter, Selena, police said.
Eichorn also was charged with a gross misdemeanor child abuse count involving a 2-year-old who also lived at southeast Reno home.
Authorities were called to the home on Monday on a report of an infant who had stopped breathing after falling in a bathtub.
But police said an investigation showed the child had been left in the tub unattended for a lengthy period of time.
The second child was placed in child protective custody after authorities found the home in a filthy condition, police said.
