George Henry Bouquet, 46, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born March 1, 1952, in New York. A resident for five years, he was a customer service project manager for Pulte Homes.

He is survived by one daughter, Tambria Ann Bouquet of New York; his mother, Margaret Bouquet of West Islip, N.Y.; one brother, Scott Bouquet, and one sister, Cynthia Thompson, both of New York.

Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. Saturday with a 7 p.m. service in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd.

Jack Junior Brown

Jack Junior Brown, 71, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born May 14, 1927, in Rockford, Ill. A resident for 14 years, he was a glass and window glazier, a Marine Corps veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; three sons, Jerome A. Brown, James A. Brown and Jeffrey S. Brown; two brothers, Ronald Brown and Richard Brown; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Bernice Cardinale

Bernice Cardinale, 84, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 25, 1913, in Homestead, Pa. A resident for 22 years, she was a spot welder for Medal Craft Inc.

She is survived by three daughters, Geraldine Kennedy of Las Vegas, Dorothy Krassa of Centerline, Mich., and Mary Lou Stowe of Acworth, Ohio; one sister, Stella Youdelis of Crivitz, Wis.; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

No local services are scheduled. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Susan Childress

Susan Childress, 52, of Boulder City died Wednesday in Boulder City. She was born Nov. 4, 1945, in New Jersey. A former resident of Henderson for eight years and a Boulder City resident for 1 1/2 years, she was a purchaser for the Bureau of Reclamation.

She is survived by her husband, Irvin W.; one sister, Elizabeth Monthie of Brick, N.J.; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 4 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.

Dorothy E. Fisher

Dorothy E. Fisher, 86, of Las Vegas died Oct. 15 in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 26, 1912, in Chicago. A resident for 15 years, she was a retired bookkeeper.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Barbara Hamm

Barbara Hamm, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local health care center. She was born May 9, 1926, in Michigan. She was a church secretary.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan Geiner of Las Vegas and Mary Blank of Holland, Ohio; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and one step grandchild.

David M. Heher

David M. Heher, 73, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born March 24, 1925, in Cleveland. A resident for 46 years, he was a retired wholesale electrical salesman, a World War II and Korean War Navy veteran and a member of American Legion Post 40.

He is survived by his wife, Jan; one daughter, Katherine Row of San Antonio; ne sister, Nancy Gills of Lancaster, Calif.; one brother, Herb Heher of San Jose, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Anne Catholic Church. Graveside services will be 10:45 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Larry Hemmen

Larry Hemmen, 59, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 20, 1939, in Webster City, Iowa. A resident for 21 years, he was employed with National Sports Services of Las Vegas for the past 13 years.

He is survived by his mother, Virginia Hemmen of Webster City; three sisters, Sharon Schumacher of Bozeman, Mont., Sandy Rasmussen of Jakarta, Indonesia, and Jean Risetter of Story City, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.

No local services are scheduled. Foster Funeral Home in Iowa is handling arrangements.

Esther Valenzuela Pizarro

Esther Valenzuela Pizarro, 49, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 27, 1949, in Arizona. A resident for four months, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Jessie of Grass Valley, Calif.; two daughters, Serena Valenzuela-Brown of Las Vegas and Mia Amaro of Payton, Colo.; one son, Bobby Valenzuela, her mother, Connie Valenzuela, and two brothers, Paul Valenzuela and Arturo Valenzuela, all of Oxnard, Calif.; three sisters, Margaret Anderson of Woodland Park, Colo., Isabel Miranda of El Centro, Calif., and Jennie Pettigrew of Tulsa, Okla.; and seven grandchildren.

Burial will be in Oxnard. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Sadie M. Price

Sadie M. Price, 72, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 24, 1926, in Marianna, Ark. A resident for 36 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Erie Robinson, and four sons, Larry Tennie, Terry Lee Price, Doyle Price and Daryl Price, all of Las Vegas; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Raymond W. Rustvold

Raymond W. Rustvold, 74, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born July 3, 1924, in St. Paul, Minn. A resident for seven years, he was a retired banker, a World War II veteran of the Merchant Marines, a charter member of Sons of Norway, Viking Lodge, a member of Bank of America Retirees, Vegas Rollers Winnebago Camping Club and American Merchant Marine Veterans High Rollers Chapter.

He is survived by his wife, Rowena; one daughter, Pamela McClure of Walla Walla, Wash.; two sons, James Rustvold of Milwaukie, Ore., and Gary Rustvold of Boise, Idaho; one stepdaughter, Cathy Kjellsen of Copperas Cove, Texas, and Bruce Heyerdahl of Round Rock, Texas; one brother, Lloyd Rustvold of Cloquet, Minn.; two sisters, Bertha Wells of Bloomington, Minn., and Patty Fraza of Tavares, Fla.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Holy Spirit Lutheran Church. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Lucia Z. Sanchez

Lucia Z. Sanchez, 32, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 24, 1965, in Mexicali, Mexico. A resident for eight years, she was a manager at Rexford Drive Apartments.

She is survived by her husband, Guillermo; her mother, Teresa Zamora of San Jose, Calif.; three brothers, Gabriel, Miguel and Manuel, all of California; four sisters, Lupe, Teresa and Gabriella, all of California, and Catalina of Mexico.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Robert Henry Schomer Sr.

Robert Henry Schomer Sr., 51, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 29, 1946, in Spokane, Wash. A resident for 45 years, he was a stage technician for the Riviera hotel-casino.

He is survived by three daughters, Christal Kerchevel and Billie Schomer, both of Las Vegas, and Deanna Jones of Grass Valley, Calif.; one son, Robert Schomer of Las Vegas; his father, Robert Raymond Schomer of Alpine, Calif.; two brothers, Jim Schomer and Max Schomer, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Sherrine Gonzales of Las Vegas and Jeannie Schworer of New Guinea; and four grandchildren.

Catherine Rose Stern

Catherine Rose Stern, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born March 28, 1915, in Chicago. A resident for 17 years, she was a credit manager for a retailer.

She is survived by one daughter, Carolyn M. Ferg of Lac Du Flambeau, Wis.; two sisters, Hazel Lefeber of Wichita, Kan., and Jean Wolfe of Torrence, Calif.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon until 2 p.m. services Saturday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. A private burial will follow.

Robert C. Swain

Robert C. Swain, 24, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born May 2, 1974, in Willingboro, N.J. A resident for 13 years, he was a mail sorter for UPS.

He is survived by his wife, "Nancy" Khamphoune Swain; one son, Robert Khounphithack, one daughter, Tyra Swain, and his parents, Lafayette and Lela Swain, all of Las Vegas; and two brothers, Michael D. Swain of Pasadena, Calif., and Selden O. Swain of Canton, Mich.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be noon Saturday in Woodlawn Cemetery.
