Letter: Family Court judge puts children first

Fine takes matters to heart and dwells on her decision as to what's down deep inside while making the final decision.

Children are afraid to be in court to start with, so Fine reaches out to the children by talking to them in her chamber and making them feel secure. My son was a perfect example, she is a real person, a caring person and has a bold honesty which scares people.

Sometimes we are just too close to some things to see it, and with all her zeal to do what she thinks down deep in her heart that's right, she helps you open your eyes and learn.

We need a Family Court judge who cares about the children in this day and age, so our children in Nevada can be safe and feel secure in today's mixed-up world.

I also feel that the State Bar Association needs to know what an asset we have in Fine. It's time Nevada has a caring, concerned, understanding human being to help our children grow into responsible adults.

With Fine's leadership we are holding the winning hand.
