Letter: CNN is Clinton News Network

I have watched CNN on TV from its beginning and have always liked and respected the network ... until now.

I am retired now so I have more time to view their various programs, and in my opinion, I notice a definite bias in favor of the Democrats and President Clinton. I do know that Ted Turner operates the network and that he and his wife, Jane Fonda, are Democrats and friends of Clinton.

I've noticed that CNN was the leader in loudly and regularly broadcasting (on most of their shows) the scandal involving Clinton and Monica Lewinsky. Most of the guests on these shows were Democrats or loud-mouthed spinmeisters who drowned out anyone who didn't agree with them.

The public has to be very careful in what it is fed by this network or any other medium (paper, radio). Sometimes it just takes a little common sense and listening to all the rhetoric to know what is happening.

I, for one, think CNN should be called Clinton News Network because he or one of his people are on there all the time. The Republicans sure don't get much time on this network.

If you want to find out who is doing what about policy in Washington, tune in to C-SPAN so you can see and hear for yourself what is happening in our world of politics and give the credit to the people who actually do the work.
