EEOC sues Carson City firm for discrimination

The lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court, Reno, on behalf of Nick Nicosia of Carson City, who had worked for Laughlin Associates Inc. several years ago.
The lawsuit seeks to compensate Nicosia for damages suffered after he was terminated by Laughlin.
"By this lawsuit we are sending amessage that the EEOC has a zero tolerance level for religious discrimination and retailiation," said EEOC Regional Attorney Pamela Thomason.
