Letter: We voted for a president, and he's doing it well

I voted for him twice to run the country. He is doing a good job at that. I knew I was not voting for a bishop or a pope. His private life is none of the public's business. Let's let him, God and his family handle that.

We have spent four years and $40 million investigating his private life. That money should have been donated to research or education or some other worthy cause. So now we know that he has had an affair. Who is the winner?

Any more news about the president's private life should be relegated to the back of the newspaper.
