A suspect's arrest led to gunfire and a Metro Police officer getting hit by a car.

Three members of the Las Vegas Criminal Apprehension Team, a multijurisdictional task force made up of FBI agents and local police officers, arrested Jason Goldsby early Sunday morning, but not without incident.

The two FBI agents and the Metro officer took Goldsby, who was charged with two counts of robbery, kidnapping and grand larceny auto, into custody at 4240 Boulder Highway at about 1 a.m. Sunday.

During the arrest Goldsby called out to his friend, Terry Brown, who got into a silver Saturn and drove it at one of the FBI agents and the Metro officer. Brown hit the officer, knocking him to the ground and running over his legs, before backing up the car and coming at them again.

But the officer and the agent shot at the vehicle, and Brown fled the the scene. He was later found armed and hiding in an apartment down the street at 4823 Boulder Highway, where he was taken into custody.

The Metro officer was treated for minor injuries. His name was not released, nor were the names of the FBI agents.

Brown also had warrants charging him with conspiracy to commit robbery with a deadly weapon, kidnaping with a deadly weapon, and robbery with use of a deadly weapon.
