Michael S. Barkan, 55, of Henderson died Friday in Houston. He was born Dec. 8, 1942, in Chicago. A resident for 20 years, he was a postal worker and a member of the Interstate Association of the Deaf.
He is survived by his mother, Sophie Barkan of Las Vegas; one sister, Marlene Brown of Henderson; and two brothers, Sheldon Barkan of Northridge, Calif., and Daniel Barkan of Henderson.
Visitation is scheduled one half hour prior to noon services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
CHARLES H. DILLARD
Charles H. Dillard, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. He was born March 14, 1924, in Illinois. A resident for 39 years, he was self-employed in the aviation industry.
He is survived by his wife, Alma; two sons, Dennis Dillard and Morgan Dillard, one daughter, Charlene Dillard, and one brother, Doyle Dillard, all of Las Vegas; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
WILLIAM MICHAEL HARRIS
William Michael Harris, 56, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 4, 1942, in Somerset, Pa. A resident for 30 years, he was an electronics technician and Vietnam War Army veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Robyn L. Jackman, and one son, Robert M. Harris, both of Las Vegas; three sisters, Sheri Lagocki of Las Vegas, Judy Andrews of Post Falls, Idaho, and Kathy Chilson of Oroville, Calif.; one brother, James Harris of Spokane, Wash.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main.
MICHAEL JOHN LENGAS
Michael John Lengas, 46, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 16, 1952, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a liquor company salesman.
He is survived by his father, James Joseph Lengas of North Las Vegas.
Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
ROSEMARY K. WYMAN
Rosemary K. Wyman, 68, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a Massachusetts hospital. She was born in Quincy, Mass. A resident for 20 years, she was a classified account executive at the Las Vegas Review-Journal for 19 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Todd L. Wyman, U.S. Marine Corps.
She is survived by one daughter, Donna M. Wyman; one son, Ronald L. Wyman; one brother, George McNally of Pompano, Fla.; three sisters, Eileen Dineen of Quincy, Helen Manning of Columbus, Ohio, and Dorothy Murrin of Venice, Fla.; many nieces and nephews; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy, is handling arrangements.
