Investigators said Kristi Simmons of Twin Falls was eastbound when she suddenly came up behind a slower vehicle. She swerved too hard in an attempt to avoid a collision and flipped over several times.
Neither she nor her 21-year-old husband Keith was wearing a seat belt and both were ejected. She was pronounced dead at Pershing General Hospital shortly after the Monday morning accident. The couple's 10-month-old son was in a child safety seat and escaped serious injury, according to Trooper Rocky Gonzales.
