Dorothy L. Bowling, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A resident for six years, she was born March 13, 1920, in Portland, Ore.

She is survived by two daughters, Connie Orton of St. George, Utah, and Peggy Arias of Cypress, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Mont L. Boyer, 65, of Pahrump died Friday in a local hospital. He was born May 20, 1933, in Missouri. A resident for 10 years, he was a farmer and an Air Force veteran.

ELEANOR HOPE BROWN

Eleanor Hope Brown, 74, of Pahrump died Friday in Pahrump. She was born Oct. 6, 1923, in Taxila, India. A resident for 10 years, she was a licensed vocational nurse and visiting nurse.

She is survived by one son, Barton H. Brown II of Henderson; one daughter, Alexis Styche of Charleroi, Pa.; two sisters, Florence Louise Jongewaard of Los Angeles and Jean Farr of San Francisco; and four grandchildren.

RALPH ANTHONY CALVA

Ralph Anthony Calva, 33, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born Sept. 16, 1964, in Los Angeles. A resident for two years, he was a service manager for a uniform company.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa; his father and stepmother, Ralph and Sally Calva of Rialto, Calif.; his mother and stepfather, Genevieve and Rick Martinez, and one sister, Gina Martinez, all of Lakewood, Calif.; and one brother, Vincent Calva of Long Beach Calif.

WINSTON BOWMAN CARROLL SR.

Winston Bowman Carroll Sr., 67, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. He was born Feb. 23, 1931, in Westbourne, Tenn. A resident for 17 years, he was a retired heavy-duty machinery mechanic, a Navy and Coast Guard veteran, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Naval Fleet Reserve.

He is survived by his wife, Caroline; one daughter, Rose Carroll-Muck of Las Vegas; two sons, Roger T. Carroll of Riverside, Calif., and Winston B. Carroll Jr. of Adell, Ga; two sisters, Phyllis Hendry of Augusta, Ga., and Doris Powell of Goldsboro, N.C.; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North is handling private services. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Carl Chevedden Jr., 55, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in North Las Vegas. He was born April 14, 1943, in Chicago. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired banker.

He is survived by his wife, Elsie; his parents, Adele and Carl Chevedden Sr. of Chicago; three sisters, Sandra Klueter of Mission Viejo, Calif., Carlene Vitkauskas of Nashville, Tenn., and Judy Chevedden of Chicago; and his mother-in-law, Margaret Millian of North Las Vegas.

Irma Dean Cohee, 71, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 8, 1926, in Hopkins, Mo. A resident for 32 years, she was a retired personnel director for the Air Force.

She is survived by her husband, Russell; one son, Dr. James Neal Thomas of Finley, Ohio; her mother, Edna Morehouse, and one sister, Lena Jeffreys, both of Hopkins; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be in Hopkins.

HOWARD LEE DELOTELLE

Howard Lee DeLotelle, 72, of Las Vegas died Aug. 27 in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 18, 1925, in Portsmouth, Ohio. A resident for four years, he was a data entry clerk for the federal government, an Army veteran and World War II prisoner of war, and a member of the Las Vegas Men's Club, Hawaii Men's Club, and the Masashi Club in Japan.

He is survived by his friend, Gilbert Martin of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 2-5 p.m. Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services are scheduled 10 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

David C. Devine, 48, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 8, 1949, in Kansas. A resident for four years, he was a painter.

He is survived by his wife, Joan; three sons, Nathan Giecold, Jim Peterson and Jerry Peterson; two daughters, Kathy Fryman and Lisa Devine; three sisters, Patricia Nichols, Janell Rangel and Tammy Lang; and six grandchildren.

Vito W. DiNapoli, 73, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born June 25, 1925, in Newark, N.J. A resident for 37 years, he was a taxicab driver for many years and a courier for a local bank.

He is survived by five sisters, Carmella DiNapoli and Mary Loffredo, both of Newark, Josephine Carolla of Bloomfield, N.J., Margaret Munch of Rockaway, N.J., and Claire Volpe of Union, N.J.

MILDRED ELLSWORTH

Mildred Ellsworth, 81, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born May 21, 1917, in Georgia. A resident for 50 years, she was a bookkeeper at Indian Springs and Nellis Air Force Base.

She is survived by one daughter, Jean Edwards of Las Vegas.

Joseph F. Eusebio, 86, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 12, 1914, in the Philippines. A resident for five years, he was a carpenter.

He is survived by three sons, Jesus, Matias and Antonio; six daughters, Melanie, Lydia, Elvira, Brenda, Josephine and Gloria; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Charles W. Fansher Sr., 79, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born Sept. 1, 1919, in Savannah, Mo. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired carpenter, World War II Army veteran and member of Carpenters Local 1780.

He is survived by two daughters, Leanna Waylin and Linda Fansher, and two sons, Ronald Fansher and George Fansher, all of Henderson; one sister, Katherine Gunnels of Chico, Calif.; and five grandchildren.

Charles G. Haws, 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born April 20, 1932, in Anderson, Ind. A resident for four years, he was a retired funeral director, a Korean War and Vietnam War Navy veteran, a member of the A&FM Council Oak Lodge 745, Scottish Rite Lodge and Shriners, both in South Bend, Ind.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda; one son, Michael Haws of South Bend; one daughter, Cheryle Coye of Laguna Hills, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Patricia A. Hinson, 66, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born July 26, 1932, in Newark, N.J. A resident for six years, she was a retired schoolteacher and taught for 25 years in the Westfield, N.J., school district.

She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Hinson-Jones of Las Vegas; one son, John P. Hinson of Westfield; one sister, Grace Johnson of Salisbury, Md.; and one grandchild.

Joy Mae Jacobs, 80, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 15, 1917, in Miller, Okla. A former resident of Mesquite and more recently a Las Vegas resident for nine months, she was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by one son, Teddy Jean; and one daughter, Wanda Sue Buckner.

She is survived by two daughters, Gwen Parker of Las Vegas and Linda Jane Mickelson of Richmond, Va.; one sister, Rosamond Park of Dallas; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Isabel Kalbfleisch, 88, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born June 2, 1910, in Taneytown, Md. A resident for 12 years, she was a retired registered nurse and worked at McDonald's for six years, until she was 84.

She is survived by one daughter, Clare Springgate-Levin of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Ruth E. Ladd, 83, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. She was born Jan. 29, 1915, in Ohio. A resident for 51 years, she was a retired beautician.

She is survived by one son, David L. Ladd of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Robert W.; one son, Mark W. Linge of Las Vegas; her twin sister, Mary Ann Hastings, and one brother, Herman E. Fisher Jr., both of North Las Vegas.

He is survived by his wife, Judith; one daughter, Susan Newman of Netcong N.J.; and one brother, Michael Newman of New York.
