Cathy Boland, 43, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born March 25, 1955, in San Diego. A resident for 16 years, she was a college financial adviser.

She is survived by her husband, William; one daughter, Heather Wenzlick of Phoenix; her mother, Maxine Cotton of Littleton, Colo.; one sister, Patti Winters of Evergreen, Colo.; and one grandchild.

VIOLET S. CHAPMAN

Violet S. Chapman, 85, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local health care center. She was born Oct. 15, 1912, in Pennsylvania. A resident for six years, she was a secretary for an advertising company.

She is survived by one daughter, Brenda Fujita Chapman of Canada; and one brother, LeRoy Burt of New York.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in the First Baptist Church, 300 S. Ninth St. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

CALVIN J. DUCKSWORTH

Calvin J. Ducksworth, 47, of Las Vegas died Sept. 9 in a local hospital. A resident for 22 years, he was born Oct. 12, 1956, in Laurel, Miss.

He is survived by his son, Patrick C. Beavers of North Las Vegas; two daughters, Suvine Ducksworth and Tina Ducksworth, both of Taylorsville, Miss.; his mother, Bernice Barnes of North Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today at American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in New Bethel Baptist Church. Graveside services will be 8:30 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Marlena D. Espinoza, 48, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born March 8, 1950, in Ohio. A resident for seven years, she was a hotel-casino porter.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; two sons, Nicholas Schellie and Timothy Schellie, both of Orlando, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service was scheduled at 4 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

ANELIA FAGA

Anelia Faga, 89, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 18, 1909, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 26 years, she was a waitress at Winchell's.

She is survived by three daughters, Pat Baal, Margee Butto and Jean Delano, all of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

LOIS M. GAGE

Lois M. Gage, 72, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 25, 1926, in Detroit. A resident for eight years, she was a retired licensed vocational nurse.

She is survived by one daughter, Judith Gonzalez of Las Vegas; two sisters, June Hass of Las Vegas and Jackie Grinolds of Grants Pass, Ore.; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Helen B. Galassi, 98, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 4, 1900, in Logansport, Ind. A resident of Las Vegas and California for four years, she was a practical nurse.

She is survived by one son, Jack Renbrook of Las Vegas; one daughter, Mary Haas of California; two grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Mary C. Gatto, 65, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born April 16, 1933, in Ogdensburg, N.Y. A resident for 19 years, she was a real estate broker.

She is survived by her husband, Mario; one son, Mario Gatto of Mesquite; three sisters, Bertha De Sellems of North Syracuse, N.Y., Linda Ameigh of Cicero, N.Y., and Joan Teller of Constantia, N.Y.; one brother, John Teller, and her stepfather, Irving Teller, both of Constantia.

Ruth Grenier, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born June 27, 1922, in New York state. A resident for one year, she was a communications secretary and a World War II Marine Corps veteran.

She is survived by two sons, Ronald H. Carman of Orlando, Fla., and William N. Carman of Las Vegas; one brother, William Nevitt of New Jersey; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

DALE DONALD HAWKINS

Dale Donald Hawkins, 64, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born July 31, 1934, in Center Line, Mich. A resident for six years, he was a retired from the Marine Corps and a Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by one brother, Spencer Hawkins of Tucson, Ariz.

Larry C. Jenne 63, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 31, 1935, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. A resident for five years, he was a firefighter and a member of the Fire Department Union in Idaho Falls.

He is survived by his wife, Sonia; two sons, Butch Jenne and Marty Jenne, both of Las Vegas; his mother, Charlotte Saxton, and one sister, Diane Jenne, both of California; and four grandchildren.

George Kollios, 64, of Boulder City died Tuesday in Boulder City. He was born Oct. 8, 1933, in Southbridge, Mass. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired liquor store owner-operator, a Korean War Army veteran, a member of Elks Lodge 1682 in Boulder City, American Legion Post 310 in Rutland, Mass., and a former member of the Lions Club in Rutland.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley O.; three brothers, Paul Kollios of Millbury, Mass., William Kollios of Las Vegas and Gregory Kollios of Worcester, Mass.

Gerard H. Lamoureux, 81, of Henderson died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born May 5, 1917, in North Providence, R.I. A resident for 2 1/2 years, he was a retired utility man for an aircraft manufacturer, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of the Elks of Henderson and Senior Friends.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; two sons, Gerard Lamoureux of Hilo, Hawaii, and Michael Lamoureux of Reno; two sisters, Rita Corelli of Mansfield, Mass., and Germaine Thompson of Hawaii; one brother, Marcel Lamoureux of Warwick, R.I.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Guadalupe Lopez, 53, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born May 22, 1945, in Laredo, Texas. A resident for 33 years, she was a casino change person.

She is survived by two sons, Roberto Lopez Jr. and John D. Lopez, and one daughter, Deanna E. Lopez, all of Las Vegas; her mother, Elvira Flores of Laredo; four brothers, Gilbert Flores of Vista, Calif., Joe Flores and Jacob Flores, both Oceanside, Calif., and Ernesto Flores of Laredo; four sisters, Mary Olivarez of Oceanside, Eva Carlstrom of Cherry Valley, Mass., Elisa Tavern of Bellevue, Wash., and Leticia Flores of Laredo; and three grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Richard P.; two sons, Jim Lundahl of Westminster, Colo., and Tom Lundahl of Boise, Idaho; her mother, Theresa Nelson of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

Rose H. Newman, 78, of Pahrump died Sunday in Pahrump. She was born Oct. 6, 1919, in Oak Creek, Colo. A resident for 37 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by five daughters, Betty Morlan of Meeker, Colo., Ruth White, Sheila Abney and Kelly Sue Abney, all of Pahrump, and Roberta Visto of Bakersfield, Calif.; three sons, Thomas Newman of Farmington, N.M., Clinton Newman of Las Vegas and Kenneth Newman of Putnam, Texas; 28 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Norma; one daughter, Sharon Biswell of Kingsburg, Calif.; one son, Richard Saffell of Lovelock; one stepson, David Church of Las Vegas; one sister, Joyce Van Hoosen of Sanger, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

She is survived by one son, George Gardner of Boulder City; two daughters, Leona Buckalew of Las Vegas and Patty Ann Smith of Fort Worth, Texas; three sisters, Ethel Myers of Las Vegas, Nikki Wells of Kansas and Jean Chavez of Kingman, Ariz.; one brother, Clifton Combs of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his father, Charles H. Sr.; three sisters, Paula Farren and Deann Warkentien, both of Las Vegas, and Dr. Judy Kandel of Arlington, Wash.; and one brother, Jimmy Smith of Seattle.

He is survived by his wife, Betty L.; two daughters, Kim Cerven and Debbie Erdos, both of Decatur, Mich.; one son, Guy Weese; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemary; five daughters, Vickie Kelley, Frances Lohman, Linda O'Connell, Tammy Zappulla and Penny Castro, and three sons, Vincent Zappulla, James Zappulla and Paul Zappulla, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Richard Zappulla of Louisiana; five sisters, Dottie Warden, Elizabeth Pertuit, Mary Helmer and Louise Bergeron, all of Louisiana, and Gail Crawford of Las Vegas; 27 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
