UNLV golfers 10th in Japan tourney

The top-ranked UNLV golf team tied for 10th place Wednesday in the opening round of the Topy Cup men's U.S.-Japan intercollegiate tournament at Panagura, Japan. The Rebels had a total of 312 and were 20 strokes behind leader Arizona State entering today's second round. Jeremy Anderson led UNLV with a 74. Other Rebels and their scores: Michael Kirk, 76; Andrew Scott, 80; Chris Berry, 82; and Charley Hoffman, 84.
