Letter: Clinton spin doctors following pattern of Simpson's success

Just as O.J. was a victim of Mark Fuhrman's racist hatred, poor Clinton is a victim of a "vast right-wing conspiracy." Then he's a victim of Arkansas-bashers.

The big one, of course, is to criminalize the cop, like the Simpson people did with Fuhrman. This was their real challenge, because the Clinton spinners couldn't find any dirt on Ken Starr. So they whine about the hate agenda he is on. Clever.

So the Clintonites keep shrilling, the public reacts with emotion instead of reason, and they just may pull it off. But if they do, another criminal goes free. Justice becomes another circus act. But what about the victims? Apparently, if you're a famous football star, it doesn't matter.

Or in this case, if you are handsome and charismatic, or if the economy is good and everyone has a dollar in their pocket, it doesn't matter, either. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

But God have mercy on us all, and our future generations, if justice isn't served.
