Letter: Clinton unfairly persecuted for covering his misdeeds

Clinton had extramarital sex and lied about it. He perjured himself. A man who had an affair and actually lied about it. What a surprise! If perjury were such a heinous crime, after every contested divorce they would hand out his-and-hers prison sentences.

When Reagan lied to the American people about Iran-Contra nobody considered this a high crime or misdemeanor.

Maybe somebody should have looked under the desk?
