UNLV women to hold 5k run

LAS VEGAS-The UNLV women's basketball program will hold the Run with the Rebels 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 8:00 a.m., beginning at the Thomas & Mack Center parking lot on UNLV's campus.
The event, which is a fundraiser for the UNLV women's basketball program, is being sponsored by Rebel Oil Company, Inc.
All participants will receive refreshments and t-shirt. There will be drawings, give-aways, computerized results from Tri-A-Run, first, second and third place prizes in all divisions and the best overall male and female runners will receive Adidas running shoes.
The cost is $17 to all participants in advance and $25 on the day of the race. There will be a $2 discount if registration is received on or before Oct. 2.
