Letter: Media, politicians have gone too far in making report public

True, Kenneth Starr's book of his report to Congress is selling, but the majority of the readers are reacting to his descriptive comments. All proceeds from books by Starr, Monica Lewinsky and Linda Tripp should be deposited into the U.S. Treasury.

Evidently the politicians in Washington, D.C., are confused: They do not control the voters. The voters control them. The president holds a 69 percent job approval rating and more than 90 percent are against the exorbitant costs of this procedure.

Grand jury proceedings are never released to the public, or are Starr and the political vigilantes exempt from the law? The media and political egotists have overstepped the boundaries, and very likely created an inferno backlash by the voters.
