Letter: Letter writer has no sympathy for Japan's economic crisis
Monday, Sept. 28, 1998 | 9:44 a.m.
Despite pleas for cooperation and fair trade, Japan has for many years been "sticking it" to the United States, the hand that feeds them, so to speak, in their import-export policies. Furthermore, Japan pretty much rubbed our faces in it using a system (capitalism) that we claim to have invented.
I for one am not disappointed in the concept of retribution while respectfully hoping that we are not due to pay "ours."
