Casino procurement service online in A.C.

Purchase Pro, a Las Vegas company, said it's linking sellers of gaming supplies and services with Atlantic City hotel-casinos on its online network.

Atlantic City properties using Purchase Pro's network for their procurement needs include the Tropicana, Caesars, Bally's and the Hilton, Purchase Pro said.

Purchase Pro's software and proprietary electronic network directly link buyers with sellers' products and services -- allowing casinos to reduce the use of inefficient means of communication like mail and faxing.

Las Vegas hotel-casinos using the system include the Mirage, MGM Grand, Luxor and Treasure Island.
