Hendrick to head legal gaming staff

CARSON CITY -- Kirk D. Hendrick, who has been with the state Attorney General's Office for 5 1/2 years, was promoted to head the team of seven lawyers that advise the Nevada Gaming Commission and the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

Hendrick was promoted to be chief deputy attorney general, succeeding Scott Bodeau, who died last month. Hendrick has been a senior deputy in charge of the Gaming Division's Las Vegas office.

The appointment was announced by Attorney General Frankie Sue Del Papa, who also said Jeffrey Rodefer, a deputy attorney general in the Gaming Division, has been promoted to senior deputy attorney general. Rodefer of Carson City has been with the Attorney General's office for 5 1/2 years also.
