Andre Agassi and Brooke Shields have officially untied the knot.
A divorce decree was granted by District Judge T. Art Ritchie Jr., April 9, ending the couple's two-year marriage.
Agassi and Shields were married April 19, 1997, in Monterey, Calif. In asking for the divorce, Agassi cited incompatibility "in tastes, natures, views, likes and dislikes."
The settlement, reached April 1, calls for a "fair, equitable distribution of property" and splits their debt.
Shields is the star of the television show "Suddenly Susan," and tennis star Agassi is competing this week in the Japan Open.
