Viagra, pathology to be discussed

Two medical seminars are being offered in Sun City next week.

A day in the life of a pathologist will be offered at 9 a.m. April 20. And the myths and facts about Viagra will be presented by Dr. Robert McBeath 9-10 a.m. April 21 at 9310 Sun City Blvd. Call 363-1150.

Museum hosting meetings on education program

Young adults, ages 14 through 20, who have an interest in marine biology, zoology, veterinary medicine, geology, archeology or anthropology, are invited to informational meetings today for a new hands-on career education program being offered at the Las Vegas Natural History Museum, 900 Las Vegas Blvd., North.

'Schindler's List' producer to speak at service

Yom Hashoah, the annual memorial service for victims of the Holocaust, will be held at 7 tonight at Congregation Ner Tamid, 2761 Emerson St.

The keynote speaker will be Jerry Molan, producer of the Academy Award-winning film, "Schindler's List." Call 733-6292.

School district seeks volunteer tutors

The Clark County School District is looking for volunteers who want to tutor students as part of the Americorps program.

The district is looking for 45 volunteers who have a high school diploma and are interested in tutoring kindergarten through 12th-grade students. Americorps is a national service program. Volunteers receive a small stipend.

Tuscany Institute donates $1 million for study

The Tuscany Institute of Las Vegas has given $1 million to Ducks Unlimited Inc. to study pintail duck populations which have dropped in the west due to urban growth and diseases.

The birds migrate between Southern Nevada and Canada, where they nest each spring.
