University Police Chief reassigned to administrative post

Ken Sjoen began his new duties, which include grant-writing, earlier this month.
Assistant Chief Michael Meese was assigned as acting chief. Meese, who joined the force late last year, was the lead investigator of the 1993 kidnapping and murder of 12-year-old Polly Klass of Petaluma, Calif.
A search for Sjoen's successor will soon begin.
