Cheyenne's Hunter scores winner

Cheyenne senior Demetrius Hunter knocked down a game-winning 3-pointer with 12 seconds remaining to lead his U.S. team to a 156-154 victory over the West squad in Sunday's Dada All-Star Classic prep basketball game in Westwood, Calif.

After making his shot, Hunter finished the job by stealing a pass on the other end and converting a free throw to extend the lead. The Georgetown-bound guard finished with 10 points and five assists.

Clark senior Kevin Gaines, a guard bound for Michigan in the fall, scored 23 points and dished out four assists for the West squad. West High School (Charlotte, N.C) center Jason Parker was named the MVP after a 30-point performance.
