Letter: Indoor nonsmoking areas aren't answer

It is very difficult for me to go into a restaurant and sit in the alleged nonsmoking area and still have to smell the smoke from the smoking areas. I would like for smoking to be banned in public buildings. I think people should have respect for others and smoke outside.
There are nonsmokers who have no choice but to work in a smoking environment. The smoke is interfering with their health rights. I feel that smokers have the right to smoke, but they shouldn't interfere with the nonsmokers' rights as well.
