Letter: Simplify tax code, but at same rates

There is nothing complex about looking up the tax you owe in the tax charts, and no need to reduce the top rates for simplification. The confusion of flat rates with overall simplification is a way of selling something good for the rich (flat rates) by mixing it with something good for the rest of us (overall simplification).

Why not simplify but keep the current tax rates? That would be simpler.
