Letter: Union image is not offensive

They even welcome visitors from all over this country and the world in their sweatshop produced designer labels and their child-labor produced sneakers. Union workers live in fine affordable housing, raise their families, pay taxes and make this one of the finest cities in the country to live and work in.

If that's an "image" that one of our out-of-town visitors finds offensive, that is regrettable, and of course one can attempt to find something better elsewhere. I for one feel better served in the many fine hotels, restaurants and casinos with a unionized, professional workforce whose members hold their head up high and work very hard to provide a great image of this town.
