Letter: Youth drug abuse worldwide problem

After reading an article from the Australian & NZ News, (stating that the prime minister failed to win support for a tough line on drugs in school), I realized this is a worldwide problem.

What consequences are being set to those who use and supply illicit drugs whether they're on or off campus?

A simple warning or small fine does little damage and sooner or later the students are back in school to make more "deals."
