Anchor profit declines on higher revenue

Earnings per share of $1.18 fell 11.3 percent as revenues rose 1.1 percent to $59.8 million.

Anchor said it repurchased 103,500 shares of its common stock during the third quarter for approximately $4.3 million or an average of $41.59 per share; and that its planned merger with Powerhouse Technologies is proceeding.

Anchor stock was off 56 cents in early trading today. It fell $1.63 Thursday to $49.81.
