Letter: Repeat pledge -- 'Never again'

Our people will not stick to the main issue driving this Kosovo (Yugoslavia) problem. We older citizens remember World War II and the pledge to the world we made with the words: "Never again."

Milosevic has copied Hitler, some 50 years later. Milosevic's atrocities against the Kosovars and others are just as reprehensible as were those ordered by Hitler. This maniac thought he could wipe out the Jews.

Anther white bigot is again trying to eradicate another group of the world's peoples. Every single citizen of the world should be compelled by common decency to raise up and demand the free world honor our 1945 pledge: "Never again."

Millions born shortly before, during and after WWII are oblivious to our pledge. President Clinton should be telling the world Milosevic and his lieutenants will be hunted down, tried by the World Court in Nuremberg and killed or imprisoned as the court so dictates.

Once we do this, every following boisterous nut, along with his associates trying to eradicate another race or peoples, will reap exactly the same treatment.

Hitler started this. We have a duty to continue applying his fate for similar actions.
